WASHINGTON STATE HEALTHCARE HUMAN RESOURCES ASSOCIATION JOB DESCRIPTION TITLE: Vice President SUMMARY OF DUTIES: Responsible for maintaining the membership roster for the Washington State Healthcare Human Resource Association. SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Send out renewal notices to members of the Association early each calendar year. 2. As renewal forms are returned, update membership list. 3. Forward membership dues to the WSHHRA treasurer on a timely basis. 4. Send out WSHHRA membership applications to non-members within the state of Washington. 5. Frequently have mailing labels made up of the current membership and send labels to the Secretary of WSHHRA, the Immediate Past President of WSHHRA to facilitate sending out the WSHHRA Newsletter, the current President of WSHHRA if requested to do so, and the area representative for WSHHRA. 6. Evaluate other potential members from nearby states, related healthcare organizations, consultants etc. and if applicable notify of WSHHRA opportunities. 7. Have updated membership lists sorted by name as well as organization and have available for members attending WSHHRA state conferences. 8. Serve as a Board Member of WSHHRA and represent the needs of the membership and the goals of WSHHRA to the best of one's ability. 9. In the absence of the board member, the board member will arrange for coverage at the board meeting. effective 3/97 revised 2/12
