Member Update
Steven Stahl
Region 9 Consultant
Steve Stahl has been a member of the Virginia Mason
Medical Center (VMMC) HR team for over 11 years. Before starting at VMMC, he had 20 years
of previous experience in Human Resources, Clinic Management and Education
and has worked in South Dakota, Nebraska, California
and Washington. Steve has held several jobs in Human
Resources, mostly focused on employee relations and employment law
compliance. He recently moved to his dream job working in Organizational
Development at VMMC focusing on New Hire Orientation and Leadership
Development Training.
Steve has been a member of several HR Professional
organizations during his career including ASHHRA, WSHHRA, SHRM and
others. Steve was the 2011 Chapter
President of WSHHRA (Washington State Healthcare Human Resources
Association).
Steve has a B.S. in Education from Northern
State University
in his home state of South Dakota and had
taught science and math in Nebraska and South Dakota before moving to Seattle.
